Oats Design, Staves on the bias

This vase is a good example of the OAT’s construction

It is koa wood from Kauiai with maple highlights and a curly maple top and bottom.

It was made by one of my best friends, Timothy my 19 year old son who just got back from Haiti with me and goes to UnityCollege in Maine. It is one of his Mom’s favorite pieces. Stands approximately 12 inch tall.
